DAY 1
GUATEMALA

Arrival, meet and greet and transfer to chosen hotel for accommodations.

DAY 2
GUATEMALA- SAN SALVADOR

Breakfast. Departure from Guatemala to El Salvador Border via the Panamerican Highway, after clearing immigrations,  visit along the way the Archaeological Site of Tazumal, also visit Santa Ana, the second largest city of El Salvador, visit the Cathedral and the Municipal  then on to visit one of the most important Archaeological Sites in El Salvador, Joya de Ceren, known as the Pompey of America, where remains of the ancient maya community were found. Accommodations at chosen hotel in San Salvador.

DAY 3
SAN SALVADOR-COPAN

Breakfast. Early in the morning, we leave our hotel for sightseeing of the Capital City, visit the Cathedral and the Plaza Libertad, Departure from your hotel to Copan, after clearing immigrations and customs, continue to Copan Ruinas, upon arrival check in into the chosen hotel.  In the afternoon visit the Copan Archaeological Park. Visit the Plaza, the Glyphs Stairway and the complex of  Stelae, transfer to hotel for accommodations.

DAY 4
COPÁN-RÍO DULCE

Breakfast. Departs from hotel  back to Guatemala, after clearing immigrations again, continue to Rio Dulce, visit along the way the Archaeological site of Quirigua. Visit the site and the Banana Plantation. Go on to Rio Dulce or Puerto Barrios,accommodations at chosen hotel.

DAY 5
RÍO DULCE-FLORES

Breakfast.  Breakfast. Departs from hotel by BOAT to visit the town of garífuna origin, named  LIVINGSTONE with its reggae music  and Cocunut bread and special meals etc. Continuation in BOAT river arrives, from where we will observe the lush  vegetation and the green trails all up  the river. We will visit the canals and the bird’s island  then continue for sightseeing  TOUR of the CASTLE of SAN FELIPE de LARA,  fortress built XVII century by the Spaniards to avoid the sackings of the warehouses they had to borders of the Lake. Later we will continue to the  Peten, accommodations at chosen hotel.

DAY 6
FLORES- TIKAL- GUATEMALA

Breakfast. This it will be an unforgettable day. We will visit the Tikal National Park or “Place of Voices”, constructed during the classic period of the Mayans. Visit of Complex Q and R, the Central Acropolis, Temples I “of the Great Jaguar” and temple II “of the Large masks” and the Lost World. Lunch.  Visit of the Silvanus Museum Morley, then get back to Airport in Flores for flight to Guatemala,  upon arrival transfer to chosen hotel for accommodations.

DAY 7
GUATEMALA-CHICHICASTENANGO-PANAJACHEL

Breakfast.Early in the morning, ride to Chichicastenango to visit the America’s largest open – air market, where natives trade their crops, pottery and handcrafts, giving a spectacular color festival. Visit the 400 years old church, settled on the remains of an ancient Maya Temple, where catholic religious ceremonies and pre-hispanic rites are practiced together. At the proper time transfer to the Lake Atitlán, where you will have a close encounter with nature at one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. Accommodations at the selected hotel.

DAY 8
BOTE SANTIAGO-PANAJACHEL-ANTIGUA

Breakfast.Morning boat trip to Santiago Atitlán, this village is located on the south part of Lake Atitlán, on the skirts of the Atitlán Volcano, on a very short walking  visit the church of Santiago Apóstol and then visit the confraternity of Maximón. At the proper time return to Panajachel, upon arrival transfer back to Antigua Guatemala. Accommodations at the chosen hotel.

DAY 9
ANTIGUA

Breakfast.Depart from your hotel at 0900 to Antigua Guatemala ” The city of the Perpetuate Roses” , the city that was partially destroyed by the Eathquakes of Santa Marta in 1773, in 1965 was declared ” The colonial Monument of America” and in 1979 declared as Cultural Heritage of the Humanity by the UNESCO. Begin with most beautiful church of Antigua Guatemala, La Merced, visit the Arms Plaza, Cathedral, you will also visit the University of San Carlos de Borromeo (now the Colonial Museum). Free time for lunch (not included). Continue the tour leaving for the environs of Antigua, visit the village of San Antonio Palopó and Ciudad Vieja. At the proper time transfer to the your hotel for accommodations.

DAY 10
ANTIGUA-AIRPORT

Breakfast. At the proper time transfer to the International Airport for outbound flight.
